Craigslist Finds - April 12th, 2024
Joshua here,
Thanks for the guesses yesterday! The closest guess was 2,000 cars. I actually look at somewhere between 4,000 and 5,000 cars a day to find the 5-10 cars I include.
Today’s question, what state do you live in? Reply to this email and let me know! I want to find cars in the right part of the country and that would help me a lot.
Now, let’s get into it!⚡
BLUE BRICK
1999 Volvo V70R
~206,000 miles, automatic, awd, 5-cylinder, turbo
$6,200 / Olympia, WA
If you’re not familiar with these cars, they’re pretty awesome. It’s a turbo 5-cylinder with a larger set of brakes. Oh, and of course, a wagon.
LEFT-HAND MICRO VAN
1993 Mitsubishi Veryca
~16,406 miles, manual, rwd, 4-cylinder
$7,500 / Albuquerque, NM
I’m sure you’ve seen some of these micro vans before. Almost all of them are imported from Japan and are right-hand drive. This one was originally sold in America and is left-hand drive.
EXPENSIVE PARTY
1978 Ford Fiesta
~139,000 miles, manual, fwd, 4-cylinder
$8,000 / Portland, OR
When I chose this car, I completely overlooked the price, but we’re gonna roll with it. It does look super clean for its age and mileage.
BROWN-ON-BROWN
1976 Datsun 280Z
~168,000 miles, manual, fwd, 4-cylinder
$10,000 / Phoenix, AZ
I’m not usually one for a brown car, but this brown-on-brown works well on the 280Z. The interior looks just as nice as the exterior.
PROBABLY DUSTY
1978 Lotus Esprit S1
~50,000 miles, manual, rwd, 4-cylinder, pop-up headlights
$8,500 / Brentwood, CA
This picture is from the previous owner (who is now selling for his friend) and is about 5 years old. He states it is probably covered in dust now.

“THIS IS THE CAR YOU WANT”
1966 Volva Amazon 122s
unknown miles, manual, rwd, 4-cylinder
$7,800 / Portland, OR
Sometimes reading through these descriptions is as entertaining as the car itself. This one is pretty good because the owner loves their car and doesn’t want to sell it.
