Craigslist Car Finds - April 13th, 2024

Joshua here,

What kind are cars are you hoping to see in future emails? Let me know by replying to this email and you might just see the soon!

Now, let’s get into it!⚡

IMPULSE BUY

1988 Isuzu Impulse Turbo JR

~195,590 miles, manual, rwd, 4-cylinder, turbo

$8,800 / Fayetteville, GA

One of my favorite things about this Isuzu is the badge on it stating “handling by Lotus”. This car will need some work to be road worthy again.

TURBO TOWN ACE

1990 Toyota Town Ace

~110,000 miles, automatic, rwd, 4-cylinder, turbo, diesel, rhd

$9,950 / Sanford, FL

So many older Japanese market cars looked way better than their American counterparts. This Town Ace is no exception. Specifically, the headlights and taillights are incredible.

MIGHTY MIRA

1994 Daihatsu Mira Turbo R

~55,000 miles, automatic, fwd, 3-cylinder, turbo, rhd

$4,500 / Taft, CA

Here we have yet another turbo Japanese nugget. I’m not sure if the red seatbelts are standard or not, but they’re pretty cool.

SLOW FOR SNOW

1987 Subaru GL

~234,283 miles, manual, 4wd, 4-cylinder

$1,200 / Missoula, MT

As it sits, it would be a great winter daily for around town. The owner states it’s both great in snow and doesn’t go over 55MPH. Then, a great shell for a future project.

TURQUOISE T-TOP

1993 Toyota MR2

~220,000 miles, manual, rwd, 4-cylinder, pop-up headlights

$8,000 / San Jose, CA

Has a couple of cosmetic parts from a turbo model even though this one is NA. Has other tasteful modifications as well.

➡️ If you buy a car listed in Good Deal Garage & email us a picture of yourself with the car, we’ll feature you in the newsletter PLUS send you something special in return!

ROLLS ROYCE PLUS

1974 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Limousine

~100,000 miles, automatic, rwd, 8-cylinder, limousine

$7,800 / Portland, OR

If you’ve wanted to own a Rolls Royce but couldn’t justify the price, here is your chance to own a classic (plus a little). This car isn’t exactly drivable, but it looks nice.

Best Tools to Inspect a Used Car

OBD II Code Reader: quickly decipher check engine codes.

High Lumen Flashlight: make it easier to see what you’re inspecting.

1500 Amp Jump Pack: enough power to jump both cars and trucks.

Work Gloves: protect your hands from getting dirty, cut, or shocked.

Shop Towels: useful for many things, including wiping a dipstick.
