Craigslist Car Finds - April 18th, 2024

Joshua here,

What kind of cars are you hoping to see in future emails? Let me know by replying to this email and you might just see them soon!

Now, let’s get into it!⚡

TURBO BIMMER

1986 BMW 745i

~54,973 miles, automatic, rwd, 8-cylinder, turbo

$3,500 / Beatty, NV

Imported (assumedly from Europe) and is a factory turbo car. This was the best picture, however, the side shot shows its gold wheels and failing clearcoat.

JAPANS LS400

1998 Toyota Celsior

~135,389 miles, automatic, rwd, 8-cylinder, rhd

$9,995 / Lakewood, CO

If you (like me) thought this was a Lexus LS400, that’s understandable. The Celsior is how the LS400 was sold in the Japanese market under the Toyota name instead of Lexus.

STREET LEGAL STOCK CAR

1936 Ford Stock Car

~991,230 miles (listed), manual, rwd, 8-cylinder

$8,500 / Hudgins, VA

Classic race car. Has been gutted and I can’t imagine it weighs very much.

TURBO LEGGY

1994 Subaru Legacy Touring Turbo

~200,000 miles, automatic, awd, 4-cylinder, turbo

$3,950 / Spokane, WA

These first-generation turbo legacy wagons are not something that I see very often. This would make for a great sleeper as is or better with a few upgrades.

SWAPPED KEI VAN

1971 Daihatsu Hijet

unknown miles, manual, rwd, 4-cylinder, turbo

$5,000 / Covina, CA

This is listed as a 1971 but the front end looks like it’s from the late 80’s or early 90’s. Either way, this van has been turbo-swapped and has to be so fun to drive.

➡️ If you buy a car listed in Good Deal Garage & email us a picture of yourself with the car, we’ll feature you in the newsletter PLUS send you something special in return!

NEED GONE ASAP

1981 Datsun 280ZX

~160,000 miles, manual, rwd, 6-cylinder

$3,900 / Las Vegas, NV

I love seeing “need gone asap, make offers”. Makes me think they would take considerably less and you could get a great deal.
